34 Puñaladas

From Argentina, the birth-place of tango, 34 Puñaladas is one of the most original tango bands working today. Formed in 1998, their focus has been on the dark roots of tango music from the 1920s and 30s exploring gritty themes of drugs, women, vice, and bitter love. Comprised of four guitarists and a vocalist, 34 Puñaladas are dedicated to exhuming this rather taboo, but rich segment of the tango genre.
