Sister Jazz Orchestra brings together Vancouver’s top female jazz musicians in a powerhouse 18-woman ensemble. SJO is a jazz celebration that entertains and enriches fans of big band jazz, with a primary focus on the deep repertoire of women writers.

Created by Christian Morrison in 2019, SJO is a celebration of mainstream big band jazz from the female perspective - the other half of the story.

For this concert, the North Shore’s own musical star Dee Daniels performs with the orchestra. A musician's musician, who delivers passionate performances in multiple genres including jazz, blues, gospel and original compositions, Daniels has performed with orchestras throughout North America and abroad. In addition to her magnetic prowess on piano, Daniels adds a spellbinding four octave plus vocal range to her potent spin on every song she touches. NO REFUNDS ON TICKETS
