Performance Notes

× Legendary guitar duo blending Latin, Iranian, classical, jazz and flamenco cultural roots. “Fluent in many styles, from classical to flamenco and beyond, Strunz & Farah are multi-faceted and totally seductive.”–World Music Report

Originally from Costa Rica and Iran respectively, Jorge Strunz’s and Ardeshir Farah’s musical partnership fostered a previously unheard of blend of Latin American and Middle Eastern guitar. More than 20 albums later, these Grammy-nominees’ sensuous melodies and rhythms have coalesced into a colourful, improvisation-rich, multicultural expression beloved by fans and guitarists worldwide. Their latest recording, A Tale of Two Guitars, is the latest chapter in their musical storybook saturated in their rich cultural roots.
