A beautiful snapshot of the inner life of performers—their authenticity, vulnerability and desperate need to be loved.

Conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett. Book by James Kirkwood & Nicholas Dante. Music by Marvin Hamlisch. Lyrics by Edward Kleban. Co-choreographed by Bob Avian.

Original Broadway production produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival, Joseph Papp, Producer, in association with Plum Productions, Inc.

A glimpse into a Broadway tradition, A Chorus Line is an exhilarating spectacle about dancers who are auditioning for a place on the chorus line of a new show. During the grueling dance call, the characters are asked to reveal why they are there and how they got to this point of their careers, each sharing their personal and intimate journey. Set in 1975, A Chorus Line remains one of the longest-running Broadway shows.

A CapU Theatre Department Production
